High Ground still important in modern warfare?
editIt sure sounds like many aspects of holding high ground involve hand-to-hand combat and pre-radio/radar. Indeed, all the examples come from ancient battles.
However, I think as late and maybe later than the American Civil War, high ground was considered an advantage and I wonder how modern technology has affected this.--Jrm2007 (talk) 18:28, 18 June 2017 (UTC)

the high ground is the most powerful and most strategic place to be in melee combat. a good examlpe of the high ground would be in the 2005 movie Revenge of the sith. when the fight between obi wan and anikan concluded obi wan gained the high ground and used it to his advantage, telling his old padawan not to try it. even though he underestimated his power obi wan still won the battle leaving anikan in the low ground Edit everything (talk) 16:46, 24 October 2017 (UTC)
- Not done You have not specified what you want changed. Also, the trivia you mentioned is useless for the article...at least from what I can see. ToThAc (talk) 18:16, 24 October 2017 (UTC)
