I believe items in the Political History section of this article to be biassed and lacking objectivity, further offers no reference to quotes, documents or other supporting evidence.

This passage:

The bombing of the fuel storage tanks in Workington by Zimbabwean freedom fighters in 1979 was ochestrated in, and launched from Highfield. This incident is widely seen as one of the immediate factors that forced the colonial government to the negotiating table and led to the Lancaster House Agreement that brought democracy and majority rule in Zimbabwe.

states that the "colonial government" was brought to the negotiating table, however the government at that time was not colonial, rather it was independent via a UDI, which severed ties with the United Kingdon in 1965, with the further step of establishment of a republic in 1970.

The correct term would be "minority white government" rather than "colonial government" as this is more correct and reflective of the situation in the country at that time.
