Article needs substantial rewrite, or needs to be deleted
editI came looking for facts on the collapse, and found an artricle that is largely incoherent, unreferenced, over-detailed, and even obscured by non-English words. Since the article seems to be in active development, I've marked up the problem areas where I could. But some areas are gibberish, yet I couldn't find a template to mark such areas:
- Monsoon season in Malaysia, namely in November and December brought heavy rain and extreme every year can cause flooding, flash floods and landslides. Block 1 Highland Towers collapsed after the rain Download the 10 consecutive days caused landslide after retaining walls where that parking condominium collapsed.
- The owner of vacant lot behind the Highland Towers condominium, Arab-Malaysian Finance Bhd (AMFB), while the drainage system does not hold because it is waiting for the master system will be constructed for the entire area.
- The Cabinet Committee agreed to the rescue proposed to rescue the life victims is stopped.
In general, if I didn't markup unreferenced text, it was because I couldn't even figure out what was being claimed. I hope this article can be salvaged, and that a more informative article will result from this effort.

- I have made several changes to some of the sentences. I guess this article was translated into English. Made several grammar corrections as well. --Shorty23sin (talk) 15:08, 11 December 2010 (UTC)
- Article more readable now. But the cleanup came with a cost: all footnotes are now gone, making the article difficult to verify. I've tagged any potentially contentious claims that I found. Moreover, the source of claims regarding the legacy of the collapse needs to be revealed. The two listed references don't appear to be likely sources for the legacy claims, although I didn't read them so I could be wrong. --Zahzuhzaz (talk) 18:38, 19 December 2010 (UTC)
