POV dispute on the history section.
editI know the community here is controversial because of the FLDS, but it doesn't give any history about how it's founded, or how it was registered as a town/CDP. Until some information that balances the section is put in, this will be tagged as POV.— Preceding unsigned comment added by WikiLeon (talk • contribs) 02:11, 18 July 2013
Where is it?
editNeed some better ID on the county map caption. Is Hildale the part in red? Or is it the part outlined in bold to the west of the small red section? Apologies if there's a standard convention for this that I don't know about.121.163.188.1 (talk) 09:50, 16 September 2015 (UTC)
- Yeah, the standard convention for these location maps is that the red is the place being highlighted. Ntsimp (talk) 13:45, 16 September 2015 (UTC)

Hildale - most English city in the United States
editI think that's supposed to read 'ethnically English'. There's nothing particularly English about the FLDS Church. I am going to add 'ethnically' to the lead section. --Nozzer71 (talk) 10:46, 24 September 2016 (UTC)

Drastic population decrease
editIs there any particular reason as to why the population decreased by 58% between 2010 and 2020? 86.41.202.106 (talk) 23:07, 12 June 2022 (UTC)
- a quick google search will show that after Warren Jeffs arrest, trials, conviction and increasing government intervention with the FLDS church, many if not most members were instructed to leave, and left to mexico, candada, and various sites throughout the US. The United Effort Plan (the private trust that held all of the churches land,) was fully restructured by Utah government and most the land control was assigned to former members, people just left. It's now increasing LikeGrantTookRichmond (talk) 03:57, 5 June 2024 (UTC)
