The comment(s) below were originally left at Talk:Hisham's Palace/Comments, and are posted here for posterity. Following several discussions in past years, these subpages are now deprecated. The comments may be irrelevant or outdated; if so, please feel free to remove this section.

The article requires better images, additional information on the layout of the palace, and details of its destruction and history since then. What is its significance now? --Ian Pitchford 17:00, 10 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Online sources, please?

edit

If anyone can add links to Whitcomb's papers or derived online material, this would be highly useful, as hardly anyone has access to the printed material. Cheers, Arminden (talk) 09:20, 16 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

@Arminden: I've added JSTOR links to Whitcomb's papers, although they might be behind a paywall. Are those the ones you meant? They weren't hard to find on Google.
In general the citation style in this article needs to be redone. – Joe (talk) 09:31, 16 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

@Joe Roe: Thanks Joe. It's a good beginning. I've personally run out of Wiki editing time...

Total confusion of terms

edit

Confusion of terms. North of the residential PALACE, there was a large AUDIENCE HALL with a pool and a diwan, with an attached Roman-style BATH HOUSE. The audience hall has a mosaic floor; the bath house probably never did. Arminden (talk) 11:54, 26 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
