Move?

Shouldn't this be History of East Pakistan (1947-1971) or even just merged with East Pakistan ? - TheMightyQuill (talk) 16:36, 19 December 2010 (UTC)

I second this. It should be considered the history of East Pakistan. It would definitely be history through the eyes of East Pakistan's majority population, i.e Bangladeshis, but for accuracy's sake this would have to be considered "The History of East Pakistan". —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.236.50.183 (talk) 21:20, 16 March 2011 (UTC)

I agree. This article should be named History of East Pakistan since Bangladesh did not exist between 1947 and 1971, and this was the official name of the region. I am going to move the article name now. Mar4d (talk) 14:59, 11 April 2012 (UTC)

At this time there is no obvious overarching NPOV problem, and no evidence of ongoing discussion of neutrality, so I've removed the tag for now.
