Reverted
editI reverted what looks like an illogical act of vandalism. Lebanon remained under Arab rule for many centuries and cannot be erased this period from Wikipedia! --N591real (talk) 13:45, 22 May 2017 (UTC)
Copyright problem removed
editPrior content in this article duplicated one or more previously published sources. The material was copied from: http://www.ghazi.de/medieval.html. Copied or closely paraphrased material has been rewritten or removed and must not be restored, unless it is duly released under a compatible license. (For more information, please see "using copyrighted works from others" if you are not the copyright holder of this material, or "donating copyrighted materials" if you are.)
For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or published material; such additions will be deleted. Contributors may use copyrighted publications as a source of information, and, if allowed under fair use, may copy sentences and phrases, provided they are included in quotation marks and referenced properly. The material may also be rewritten, providing it does not infringe on the copyright of the original or plagiarize from that source. Therefore, such paraphrased portions must provide their source. Please see our guideline on non-free text for how to properly implement limited quotations of copyrighted text. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. While we appreciate contributions, we must require all contributors to understand and comply with these policies. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 20:35, 22 May 2017 (UTC)
- Sorry, but I did not see that the reverted article was a copy of what written by another person and so it was a copyright violation. Now I am going to start a brand new article, written by myself. Hope that now there will be no problems.--N591real (talk) 21:37, 22 May 2017 (UTC)
- I've removed some content from the new version that appears to be a copyright violation from this website and provided attribution for material you copied from other Wikipedia articles. Please see your user talk page for more information. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 20:28, 23 May 2017 (UTC)
- I see now that you copied it from History of Lebanon and have re-added that part. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 20:31, 23 May 2017 (UTC)
- No problem. "Errare humanum est": I do a lot of mistakes, too....Anyway, I hope to be able to "understand" all these rules...(;-D)....Regards, --N591real (talk) 21:36, 23 May 2017 (UTC)
- Lol. Says the sockpuppet, now blocked. @Diannaa:, this seems to be a sockpuppet of someone who has been creating socks for quite a while and created two just a few days ago who have been chatting to each other elsewhere. Doug Weller talk 15:42, 30 May 2017 (UTC)
- Noted, thanks — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 19:31, 30 May 2017 (UTC)
