Colonial Korea's Fu(府) and Comtemporary Japan's Fu(府)
editColonial Korea's Fu(府)s is written as the same as Fu(府)s in today's Japan. However, fus in colonial Korea actually were not at the same level of fus today's Japan. The former is a municipal level for being under control of a province and the letter is a prefectural level for being an independent metropolitan entity. Thus, Colonial Korea's Fu(府) should be translated to "(municipal) city" other than "prefecture". Finefir2001 (talk) 15:43, 9 March 2015 (UTC)
