Turmoil circa 1990

According to an acquaintance of mine who attended Shimer circa 1990, yet another incident drove many Shimer faculty and students to leave because they were unhappy with how the Shimer administration handled it. Apparently this incident was a manipulative and inappropriate romantic relationship between a male professor and a younger naive female student. My acquaintance was one of the angry students who left, to finish their BA elsewhere. (I myself do not have time to track down public documentation of this crisis, if any exists. Without that, this incident should not be added to the article.) Acwilson9 (talk) 01:10, 29 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
