This article is a translation in English of the "Jüdische Geschichte in Köln" in German Wikipedia on 28/2/2011 The translation is simply horrible. In parts it reads like a google translation. Someone should do something about it. 89.0.92.5 (talk) 14:30, 4 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

You can make changes yourself, if you think the article needs improvements. --188.100.201.185 (talk) 16:03, 7 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Really; this article should be deleted until an acceptable translation is made. As it stands, it serves only to waste readers' time, by attracting them to it, until they realize that it cannot be made intelligible. 207.237.89.3 (talk) 04:46, 12 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

Jewish, these are my people, and while working on a translation into Hebrew, I just can't recognize some of the names listed under "Distinguished Cologne Jews" or find any references. Sometimes I find names and they have nothing to do with the section they're listed under. How can I mark this, put some sort of notice on it, etc? rewriting this entry

i do not have time to do this. however, my intro may give someone a clear road to editing out verbiage, redundancies, and grammatical excrescences. if so, do it slowly, a paragraph or two at a time. if you must translate something from the german page on this subject, do not use the literal translation but the sense of it.70.31.164.76 (talk) 18:40, 8 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Poem carved by prisoner

edit

I’ve seen other sources say a prisoner carved a poem on the wall of a concentration camp in Cologne. It’s a pretty popular poem, beginning: “I believe in the sun, even though it doesn’t shine.” Can that information be added to this page? I would add it, but I don’t know in which camp this poem was found. Jhurley85 (talk) 13:50, 11 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
