Image copyright problem with Image:Vilna Gaon portrait.gif
editThe image Image:Vilna Gaon portrait.gif is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

Infobox
editI created an infobox with famous Lithuanian Jews:
Isaac Levitan • Vilna Gaon • Jascha Heifetz
Berek Joselewicz • Emma Goldman • Aaron Klug
Usually when saying Lithuanian Jews it means Jews from Lithuania and Belarus due to the fact Belarus was the bigger part of the Duchy of Lithuania, but I decided to put only Jews born in the borders which are Lithuania now because Belarusian Jews already have their own article! rm uncited synth
editSome Lithuanians, spurred on by far-right groups such as the Iron Wolf and Nazi propaganda, blamed Jews for the communist regime, and participated in the mass murder of Lithuanian Jews during the Holocaust.[citation needed]
The parts of that sentence are true but the causation should be cited because afaik, it was more complicated than that. Elinruby (talk) 10:59, 30 December 2023 (UTC)
