- It does not need it's own article, but the public domain text should be integrated into the Anchor article (who's history section is lacking). I haven't the time right now. Pjbflynn (talk) 02:21, 17 August 2011 (UTC)
I would agree that this could be merged. But this and the main anchor article seems to ignore all the development of high-holding-power anchors utilized in the oil and gas industry - concentrating instead on small boat, marine and navy anchors.
