God list and also Hurrians/Hati
edit1) I added a list of Hurro/Hittite/Hatic gods to the article.
2) This is not my area, but I'm pretty sure that the Hittite and Hurrian gods (with a bit from the Hati) all mostly smushed together, with some Mesopotamia mythology thrown in, but I see no mention in the article of the Hurrian or Hatic influences. This is also true for the Neo-Hittites, I think.Ploversegg (talk) 03:09, 16 August 2010 (UTC)
probable chronology glitch mentioning viking legends leaving influences on Hittites - influence-sequence should be inversed
edit"Though drawing on Mesopotamian mythology, the religion of the Hittites and Luwians ***retains*** (should be: "leaving" or similar)"
"Same problem later: Ullikummi is a stone monster fathered by Kumarbi, reminiscent of Hesiod's Typhon."
Hesiod is much later, so Ullikummi being "reminisicent" of him is anachronic - one can figure what you mean, but better to get it right. besides, those unfamiliar with norse or greek myths would be mislead to thinking those (post Christic) writings much older than they were.

The Hittite divinities Arinniti, Ellel, Jarri and Kaskuh are not sufficiently independently notable to justify their own articles. As such, these articles should be merged here. Neelix (talk) 03:54, 21 November 2012 (UTC)
