Suggestions for Improvement
editThis entry would benefit from more sources to support the information. For example, is there a citation for the claim that "The story was inspired by a doll purchased by Field"? This is interesting information and I'd like to know more about it and Field's history in writing this book. Additionally, the entry would benefit from a section on Characters, especially since there are far more characters in this novel than the Prebles. editThis sounds like the source for the plot of Kate DiCamillo's Edward Tulane. Has anyone seen a source to confirm this? 74.78.44.29 (talk) 21:57, 21 January 2024 (UTC)
