editWhat is the basis for determining Hjallis Swedish speaking?
I know he is fluent in Swedish and has got his education from a Swedish language business college but what about birth and mother tongue?? I find the claim surprising! It is not the first time I hear it though. It is a common image he holds among Finnish speakers. But is it just an image or a reality? I am not confident enough to delete the name but I don't believe in this claim. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dinji (talk • contribs) 16:36, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
I found a page in Swedish, saying he went to Finnish language primary school. The first name of his mother looks Sedish though: "Harry föddes som första barnet till Osmo och Doris Harkimo..... Sina första folkskoleår fick Harry gå i finsk folkskola."
So let's leave him in... as a bilingual —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dinji (talk • contribs) 05:31, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
- According to this article in Finnish, he went to the Swedish-language Läroverket för gossar och flickor between those two schools, and the article identifies him as a Swedish-speaker. --Silvonen (talk) 14:24, 14 August 2021 (UTC)
