Virtual Console comment wrong, unfounded, and a mere rumor
editThis article states that the gmae is confirmed for the Virtual Console. Not only is this a wild guess and unsubstantiated, but there's also no way this could be for the VC anyway, as one would need the light gun, and there is no Wiimote functionality for either emulated NES games or any virtual console, to date. It also is impossible without completly reworking the game. In which case it would be for WiiWare, and that has also never been mentioned, confirmed, or in any way, officially announced. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.208.4.228 (talk) 06:07, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
Cameos should be merged
editI think Hogan's Alley cameos should be merged into this article, mainly because
- frankly, the article just isn't big enough to be split into subarticles,
- Furthermore, the cameo article is not that good, it lacks an introduction and on its own merits it would be deleted quite soon,
- The cameo list is never going to be extensive enough. If megapopular hero Samus Aran can deal with a list of cameos in the article, why not a little bit less popular game?
Now, does anyone have any good reasons why the article shouldn't be merged? --wwwwolf (barks/growls) 22:20, 4 January 2006 (UTC)
- I think it should be merged. Go for it. Then the cameos article should be deleted--no need to even make it into a redirect. — Frecklefoot | Talk 02:12, 5 January 2006 (UTC)
- I was under the impression article deletion is never done in case of merges, as that'd cause complications with the GFDL requirements. Also, redirects are cheap. =) I'll go ahead with the merge - can't imagine why anyone would object to it. --wwwwolf (barks/growls) 16:48, 5 January 2006 (UTC)
Wii Zapper shell
edit"It is confirmed for Virtual Console. It will most likely take advantage of the Wii Zapper shell (See Wii Remote)."
I don't think the Zapper shell has been confirmed as anything other than a prototype right now. I'm removing the second sentence. NighTrekr 20:20, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
Not an Arcade Game
editWell, it was, but only eventually. It was released for the Famicom in June of 1984 while arcade version was released in March the next year. The article should be changed to reflect that. This goes for all Vs titles by the way. I know the Pinball page suffers from the same problem and it should be dealt with everywhere. (Djungelurban (talk) 02:28, 31 October 2008 (UTC))
