editConcerning this statement when trying to convert The Hollywood Vampires#Supergroup to Hollywood Vampires (band):
- "Doesn't matter; the group still does not have enough information to warrant an article"
WP:NOTBROKEN states in no unclear terms:
“ | There is usually nothing wrong with linking to redirects to articles. Some editors are tempted, upon finding a link to a redirect page, to bypass the redirect and point the link directly at the target page. While there are a limited number of cases where this is beneficial, there is otherwise no good reason to pipe links solely to avoid redirects. Doing so is generally an unhelpful, time-wasting exercise that can actually be detrimental. It is almost never helpful to replace [[redirect]] with [[target|redirect]]. | ” |
There is literally enough information to warrant an article. Just Google "Hollywood Vampires" and you will receive a wealth of reliable sources which would demonstrate notability. As it stands now, you have a whole section here cataloging the touring members – what do those members have to do with the album's actual personnel? The time it took to repeatedly revert a pipe link could have been used to actually create the Hollywood Vampires (band) article.--Ilovetopaint (talk) 12:38, 17 October 2015 (UTC)
