Divisions
editI think it might be a good idea to note the quotation, "The Pope! How many divisions has he got?" I think Stalin said this in 1935. Mang (talk) 23:22, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
Internal copyright problems
editThis article was one of many created by a now indefinitely blocked user (User:ADM) by copying content from one Wikipedia page to another without copyright attribution (see User talk:ADM/Archive 12#Copying within Wikipedia and Holy See–Soviet Union relations (07:42, 11 May 2009)
This has caused a problem because when ADM created this page ADM only coped across the short citations and did not include the long ones. - PBS (talk) 21:10, 20 August 2013 (UTC)
Eastern Catholics ?
editDo you mean Catholics in Soviet ruled countries or Uniate church? Josyf Slipyj should be mentioned. Xx234 (talk) 08:20, 2 December 2014 (UTC)
Soviet Union
editWhy don't remove all the references to other communist countries? this article is about the USSR only The page is not neutral: there are references to "atheist propaganda" and "persecutions of christians".Fedenna (talk) 17:42, 4 September 2017 (UTC)
Ordering
editWith the exception of the John Paul II-era, it doesn't really make sense to order the article into subdivisions by Pope. It is also very Vaticancentric.... why not order it by Soviet leader? The Italian language Wikipedia has a more sensible approach, ordering it by era. Claíomh Solais (talk) 00:29, 6 February 2018 (UTC)
