The article
editI am trying to build a WWI article similar to the long Home front during World War II article. Thus far most of the material is cut and paste from other Wiki articles, with some trimming. The Bibliographies are original. Rjensen (talk) 05:48, 8 March 2012 (UTC)
A correction
editIn section Ottoman Empire it is claimed that Young Turks took control of the government in 1908. This is not true. In 1908, Young Turks forced the sultan to return to constitutional monarchy. But they were unable to control the government. Young Turk government began after so called Babıali raid on 23 January 1913. Nedim Ardoğa (talk) 15:49, 9 March 2012 (UTC)
- thanks! I'll fix that. Rjensen (talk) 02:04, 10 March 2012 (UTC)
useful & appropriate links to other articles
editWorld War I covers a vast number of topics in many countries--with a new flow of RS appearing in the 100th anniversary. Therefore it is appropriate to link to other articles that cover different approaches to WWI for other countries. Otherwise our readers might miss articles that have the info they seek.
