Talk:Homer's Triple Bypass/Archive 1

  • The little tune Dr. Nick hummed while operating on Homer ("The knee bone's connected to the something, the something is connected to the red thing...") is a reference to some song I heard, I forgot what it was called... I think it was from the '80s. - 66.109.194.164 04:13, 3 March 2007 (UTC)

Actually, it sounds like Fujiya and Miyagi's "Collarbone", although I can't be certain. - Uagehry456 19:53, 12 April 2007 (UTC)

It is a children's nursery rhyme. The song above is based on it. 217.42.52.197 11:15, 8 August 2007 (UTC)

Wow, too much trivia

"The word 'hell' was used six times in this episode."

WHO CARES?!?! I really refused to believe that someone sat down with a pad and pencil and put a check mark for everytime they heard the word "hell" in this episode. If we're including worthless trivia like this on WP, perhaps we should include the number of times the word "damn" is used as well, or why not "crap"? Seriously folks, "trivia" consists of INTERESTING information that is not readily presented during an episode, not the number of times a curse word was used in an episode. I'm removing those facts, regardless of how much time some poor soul put into inputing them into WP. Thank you.PowderedToastMan 07:41, 21 May 2007 (UTC)

Unneeded Sections

Who put "Story" as a section towards the bottom of the article? It's a totally unneeded (and pretty confusingly placed) plot summary.

Fair use rationale for Image:TripleBypass.jpg

Image:TripleBypass.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
