Shouldn't the ethical and legal discussions go on the same page? EVCM (talk) 23:09, 25 August 2008 (UTC)
Rothbard
That Murray Rothbard part -- "In legal terms, we can then say that the airport, through homesteading, has earned an easement right to creating X decibels of noise. This homesteaded easement is an example of the ancient legal concept of "prescription," in which a certain activity earns a prescriptive property right to the person engaging in the action."
Yeesh. In common law we call this "adverse possession", not "homesteading". The airport is not eligible to make any sort of "home" out of anything -- an abuse of the word. 67.165.94.37 (talk) 02:44, 9 January 2013 (UTC)
