editHi I have written this article but want to change the title from Homi Mehta to Sir Homi Mehta or Homi Mehta, Sir. I assume this can only be done by official of the website. Look forward to your response Dariusmehta (talk) 11:33, 27 November 2014 (UTC)
- Most users can change the title of a page (as long as it isn't already taken), but generally titles or honorifics are not put in article titles. 331dot (talk) 11:35, 27 November 2014 (UTC)
I have tried to change the heading but it only changes in the body not the heading at the top of the article. Need to identify Homi Mehta from other Homi Mehtas so suggest Homi M Mehta. The link from the Lists of Parsis would also need changing. Dariusmehta (talk) 11:47, 27 November 2014 (UTC)
- There aren't any other Homi Mehtas with articles on Wikipedia, which is all that matters- so you don't need to put his middle initial for that reason, though if you want to you still could. 331dot (talk) 11:55, 27 November 2014 (UTC)
I am aware there are no other Homi Mehtas on Wikipedia but as the name Mehta is like Smith in India and Homi is also very common, anyone googling for another Homi Mehta maybe misled. However, thanks for your help. Dariusmehta (talk) 13:51, 27 November 2014 (UTC)
