editSo if my math is correct, Krusty bet 24 dollars on a "rather large wager on the horse race" according to Fat Tony, then went double or nothing on the opera, betting on the tenor... resulting in a debt of 48 dollars? .... what? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.72.21.221 (talk) 23:57, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
- I think it's more like... His accountant said at this rate he'd be broke in a month, but he wasn't broke YET. After paying all his money, and the mafia seizing the clown college, there was a 48-dollar debt left.
The novelty items shock buzzer and squirting chest flower are just typical clown items, thus they are not explicitly referencing Batman's "The Joker". --217.83.53.230 (talk) 15:43, 8 July 2008 (UTC)
- Agreed and edited. If the original editor has a source, I'd welcome the information back in. 69.95.232.211 (talk) 19:03, 7 August 2008 (UTC)
