The Page title should be Honda Del Sol. Its not a CRX or a Civic. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:206:8001:A0:4C64:BBCA:9D49:7C07 (talk) 01:40, 26 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

The problem here is that everyone is biased depending on what country they are in and what model year they had. The car obviously had differnet names in different places and different years. The same thing happens today. There is no such thing as Acura in Japan because Japanese people are too smart to pay for a brand name. So, let's stop arguing about the "actaul name" and just include all of the names and ACCURATE, DOCUMENTED, proof of these names as stated by honda, not Gran Turismo. (WTF?) since when is a video game the authoritative source? please, whoever said that about gran turismo, dont come back until you have an education. Also, the car was definitely called the Civic del Sol in '93 in America, I had one with factory badges on it. So, maybe there should be separate articles about cars with different names. The Japanese can have their article, the Europeans can have their article, and the North American's can have their own documented article.

I agree with the above said, and I'd like to say something: Del Sol came out to Portugal and main Europe countries as "Civic CRX", as continouing the CRX series, as so the Del Sol is called in portugal as CRX MK3, following to the MK2.

And it's no game that will tell us accurate model names. I agree with it all!

The page for the B16A3 engine only lists it as having been on the del sol from '94 - '95, what engine was in the '96 and '97 Del Sol VTEC? I think it was also the B16A3, but don't have any sourcee to confirm... posted by User:72.130.180.95

There's a great compiled PDF of information on the del Sol at Team del Sol's site: [[1]] - I don't have time to clean the article, but there's plenty of good info there for someone who does.

The 96-98 USDM del Sol VTEC had the B16A2, as used in the USDM 98-99 Civic Si.

Successor: Honda Insight

edit

The Honda Insight isn't a sporty car by any stretch of the imagination - it's a 80hp hybrid that happens to look a little like the CRX. I don't agree with the characterization of it as the successor, but I'm happy to let it stand if it's sourced. —Crazytales (talk) 17:49, 3 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

about the horsepower

edit

where is there proof that the jdm b16a engine comes with more horsepower then the usdm one, because ive read lots of people saying that its true but i havent found real evidence that it is, i want to see a honda article stating that the jdm engine comes with 10 more horsepower. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.76.46.35 (talk) 00:37, 5 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Presumably, the template just has the wrong page. Does someone have the correct page? Will (Talk - contribs) 08:43, 30 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
