Notability, etc.

edit

It's not clear how the subject of the article satisfies WP:ORG. Most of the sources cited seem to be primary sources (i.e., sources asscociated directly with the organization itself) which are not useful in establishing Wikipedia notability. What is need are citations to multiple independent reliable sources which show that the HKIS has received the significant coverage it needs for a stand-alone article. The South Chinese Morning Post article is independent, but that article is more about the problems associated with the renovation of old building than an article about the HKIS. The HKIS is mentioned by name, but that's about it and this looks like a trivial mentions as explained in WP:ORGDEPTH.

The tone of the article is also a bit promotional sounding; this might be fine for a private website, but it's not very encyclopedic. The "Activites" section is largely unsourced and reads like something you might find in press release or on the organization's official website. Same goes for the "Timeline of events and milestones". Major events could probably be better expressed in WP:PROSE instead of a table, but not everything in the organization's history bears mentioning. Reciprocity agreements really only need to be mentioned if they are something relevant to Wikipedia or involve Wikipedia organizations. Some of the items in this section are already covered in the "History" section so there really worth mentioning again. -- Marchjuly (talk) 05:23, 5 April 2017 (UTC)Reply
