yes we should what sections do you guys want to have? do you think we should have something like background, cases they deal/have dealt with, news, etc...? these are just ideas. any suggestions/comments? 0101ss06 02:04, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
er..i think we should divide it into different sections/parts. By the way, I don't know how to use it. It seems hard for me to master it.><147.8.40.142 10:49, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
have you tried using the tutorial page? --> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Tutorial or look at the "if you're a newcomer..." bullet on this site: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:Fuzheado/jmsc/0101/graded&action=edit might be easier after you look at these. hope they helped! 0101ss06 02:24, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
I'm sorry for joining all of you so late, because i went to field study before during the reading week. I'm still learning how to use the wikipedia. by the way, have we discussed what to be included in our topic yet?sorry for making any inconvenience!0101winky06 15:49, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
hello! don't be sorry we haven't really discussed what topics to include.. we sort of just included them as we went along. do you have any suggestions? 0101ss06 14:34, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
hello, Tibetibet, nice to meet you! thanks for working on this page together. i am just writing to notify that i'm afraid direct copy and paste is not suitable in wikipedia. so please kindly correct the version i've composed to make it more comprehensive. thank you. 0101jan06

Press freedom issues
edithey guys!
i was just thinking that maybe we can have a section on press freedom issues HKJA has/is faced/facing? what do you guys think? 0101ss06 09:11, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
i agree...may be we should delete some of the information. there are too many stuff=]0101kywinnie06 18:02, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
Contact information
edithi guys!
do you guys think we should delete some of the info on our page because some of it is just a replica of what's on the hkja site...i deleted a bit already.. but maybe we could focus on issues hkja has been dealing with, etc.. i think there's a good guidline kind of page on one of the other group's site: The Samaritan Befrienders Hong Kong 0101ss06 12:13, 31 October 2006 (UTC)
I agree that we should delete some excessive information, but I think the address of HKJA should be kept. I add it back to the article but I add it to the description box of HKJA (the box with the HKJA logo). Do all of you think it is okay to do so? 0101isabella06 15:20, 31 October 2006 (UTC)
- Please see bullet points 2 and 3 under Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not#Wikipedia is not a directory. --Geniac 18:37, 31 October 2006 (UTC)
- Hi, Geniac, I have read the 2 points already, I will delete the address. 0101isabella06 14:22, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
hi geniac!
i was just wondering if you could elaborate a little more on your comment there because i'm a bit confused.. which part of the site is like a directory?
thanks in advance! 0101ss06 02:21, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
Hi, geniac! I agree with ss that I also feel so confused, you mean the info box of the HKJA and the HKJA news? 0101isabella06 06:56, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
Try writing to Geniac by going to his discussion page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Geniac 0101hannah06 09:07, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
- Luckily, I have this article on my watchlist so I saw these comments. 0101ss06 and 0101isabella06, please do not include contact information in an article. As the last sentence of bullet point 3 here says, "Wikipedia is not the yellow pages." --Geniac
hmm.. i suppose that is true... i mean hannah did say that we shouldn't repeat stuff that's on the organization's site anyway.. i don't know, what do you guys think? 0101ss06 06:52, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
i m so frustrated...i don't know why.....every time after i logged in and changed some of the stuff, it would show me that...I wasn't logged in.><0101kywinnie06 18:45, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
Hi kywinnie, was that because you browse the wiki pages for so long and the login time limit of your account expired automatically? Maybe you can login once again before you edit or you copy the things that you want to edit to a word file in order to keep a record once the IE deleted all your content.... 0101isabella06 14:42, 3 November 2006
Membership application
editHi! Everybody! I think we should delete "Membership Application Method" this part.... I think it should not appear here.... 0101isabella06 07:22, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
hi guys!
i agree with isabella.. the membership application method section should be deleted, but i also wanted to ask whether you guys want to keep the "board" and "subcommittee" sections because those sections just seem to contain information that one can easily find on the hkja website..or maybe if we want to keep that section, we can modify it so that it's a little shorter and not like a huge chunk of the page.. i'm not sure, these are just suggestions! hope to hear from you guys soon :] 0101ss06 15:43, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
hi guys. Is there any thgs that we can add to enrich the context? i don't know if we have added some additional details not related to the association but the press issues in Hong Kong. If you all think it's okay, that's fine.=) By the way, if we are concerning about the work of HKJA, should we add the link linking to the press reports issued by HKJA? The link is directed to the official site of HKJA, but i do think it helps. =) Here is the link: http://www.hkja.org.hk/press_free/index.htm 0101winky06 08:31, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:HKJA logo2.jpg
editImage:HKJA logo2.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 06:33, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
