I don't get what the thing aboutn "only morning newspaper owned by Gannett nationwide" means. Not only is USA Today a morning paper, but so is The Tennessean and The Jackson Sun and that's just in my immediate era. Could it mean and is it supposed to say that the Star-Bulletin was the only afternoon paper owned by Gannett? They owned the old afternoon Nashville Banner in the 1970's and ditched it in favor of The Tennessean precisely because it was an afternoon paper.
