Hope and Social → Four Day Hombre – Four Day Hombre has citations and meets notability guidelines, as found throughout the article for Hope and Social. Hope and Social, the new name of Four Day Hombre, doesn't meet notability. So, 4DH is notable but H&S is not, so the article should be named after 4DH, even if H&S is the current operating name of that particular group of musicians. Edit: See the deletion discussion above for more details. the1akshay (talk) 12:01, 27 May 2013 (UTC)
- Oppose Names don't have to meet notability—subjects themselves do. The discussion from the AfD is noted, but I believe those editors are confused. Four Day Hombre and Hope and Social aren't different bands any more than John Cougar and John Mellencamp are different singers. I realized my opposition when I thought about how to carry out this move. The lede alone would be full of verbal contortion. --BDD (talk) 21:57, 5 June 2013 (UTC)
