Distribution
editThere is a sentence in the article that states "A population has been present on Vancouver Island, British Columbia where it had been contained since detected in 1940", which is confusing due to the verb tenses. I cannot read the source because it is offline. What does the source state? PaleCloudedWhite (talk) 06:36, 9 June 2017 (UTC)
- The Distribution section was written by me but someone else added some information in the middle which rendered it confusing. I have now rephrased the section. A report from 1993 that the insect had been "contained" on Vancouver Island was not exactly up to date, so I removed it. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 09:37, 9 June 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks, it is clear now. I am assuming the Vancouver Island population is still there? PaleCloudedWhite (talk) 09:50, 9 June 2017 (UTC)
- 1993 is an acceptable date for research, but I haven't read the sources, so an editorial decision by someone who has is fine. However you now seem to have Canada in the US, so fine tuning is in order. --2600:387:6:805:0:0:0:C1 (talk) 10:07, 9 June 2017 (UTC)
