Someone please add Tour poster to Hot Pink Tour article
editI've been trying to do it but I can't. Tour poster is on Doja's instagram or twitter. Artursilva0220 (talk) 11:04, 28 February 2020 (UTC)
GA status
edit@HeyitsBen: hey. I'm done checking the article, so after you finish your changes ping me and I'll be there when I can! versacespacetalk to me 03:05, 27 March 2021 (UTC)
- VersaceSpace, ok cool let’s do it today since this era is basically done now... Idk whether to do a reassessment or just a whole new review? HeyitsBen talk 08:06, 8 April 2021 (UTC)
- HeyitsBen agreeed. We should take the advice that's in the current review, then request a new one. versacespaceleave a message! 11:03, 8 April 2021 (UTC)
- VersaceSpace, so I just nominated it. I've been breezing through some of the advice from the last nom. Let me know if I've left anything out. I also don't know how to add you as a "co-nominator" credit but I'm gonna figure it out rn. HeyitsBen talk 18:58, 8 April 2021 (UTC)
- HeyitsBen ok! i'll be there when the nomination is graded. versacespaceleave a message! 19:53, 8 April 2021 (UTC)
- @HeyitsBen: ayooo we got a reviewer. versacespaceleave a message! 12:48, 10 April 2021 (UTC)
- VersaceSpace, whoop whoop! In the meanwhile... do you think its WP:TOOSOON to take Planet Her to article namespace, since its lead single is now out? HeyitsBen talk 17:19, 10 April 2021 (UTC)
- @HeyitsBen: let's wait for either an album cover or release date, whichever comes first. versacespaceleave a message! 18:13, 10 April 2021 (UTC)
- ^ to add to this, I think we should wait until its of a quality good enough to get a DYK. versacespaceleave a message! 18:14, 10 April 2021 (UTC)
- VersaceSpace, yes good idea! I'm with you on that HeyitsBen talk 18:39, 10 April 2021 (UTC)
- @VersaceSpace: To understand how to add yourself as a co nominator, just see what Nice4What did when serving that role for our joint nom of Jesus Is King. --K. Peake 08:47, 11 April 2021 (UTC)

DYK
edit@HeyitsBen: we're pushing four days since this article reached GA status so we need to come up with our hook and nominate the article. Is the marijuana hook idea good? versacespaceleave a message! 12:06, 3 May 2021 (UTC)
@VersaceSpace: Yeah of course! I was thinking you were gonna nominate it or should I? HeyitsBen talk 12:10, 3 May 2021 (UTC)
- @HeyitsBen: is there a way for both of us to be on the nomination? I've never done this before so I'm not sure how. versacespaceleave a message! 12:12, 3 May 2021 (UTC)
@VersaceSpace: Ok that’s great bc if you have less than 5 credits you don’t have to do WP:QPQ. It’s 10x easier to co-nominate a DYK than a GA... what you have to do is fill this out and put my name under the “author2” parameter. Once you’ve done that you paste “(moved template, it was breaking the page. refactored by VersaceSpace)“ under the TOP of this subsection. Since our article is already GA it has no issues and is automatically eligible but if you want you can read WP:DYKRULES. HeyitsBen talk 12:36, 3 May 2021 (UTC)
- @HeyitsBen: not sure I follow. That template is a red link. Did you mean to make a subpage red link? versacespaceleave a message! 12:41, 3 May 2021 (UTC)
@VersaceSpace:, you would essentially be creating a template which, when spawned, can be viewed in full on other pages (as reflected in the source code under this subsection). If you fill in “Hot Pink (album)” in the “YOUR ARTICLE TITLE” space here and then press “Create nomination” it will take you to the Template page (which now has a red link since it isn’t created yet) where you need to fill the base template out. HeyitsBen talk 12:58, 3 May 2021 (UTC)
- @HeyitsBen: okay. Sounds difficult, but I'll try. versacespaceleave a message! 13:00, 3 May 2021 (UTC)
- VersaceSpace, trust me it’s so easy! I’m just bad at explaining. I always just use WP:DYKNOM. HeyitsBen talk 13:12, 3 May 2021 (UTC)
- @HeyitsBen: do I need an ALT or just one hook? versacespaceleave a message! 13:14, 3 May 2021 (UTC)
- @HeyitsBen: ok. I created the template so you can check it. It's in the section below versacespaceleave a message! 14:13, 3 May 2021 (UTC)
- VersaceSpace, perfect! I've done some tweaks and I will probably add one or two ALT hooks in case they don't like the first one! Also I'm adding the LA times interview as a source as it also supports the hook in a slightly different way, since the Doja doesn't specifically refer to her songwriting in the BB one. - Eligible, no copyright issues or basic policy violations, QPQ exempt. I like the first hook (ALT0) and the base fact checks out, but I'm not sure what the "subsequently" is doing there—both of the sources cited in the article (and in the nom) seem to say that she thought Hot Pink was better than the previous one. However, when I read the hook first I thought it meant "during Hot Pink she stopped smoking marijuana and in her work after that [which would be Planet Her] she found her songwriting was improved". If we can just tweak it to "... stopped smoking marijuana and discovered that ..." then I'm ready to approve. — Bilorv (talk) 20:47, 18 May 2021 (UTC):@Bilorv: Done versacespaceleave a message! 21:17, 18 May 2021 (UTC)
