GA Review
editAlthough there's been a lot of activity recently, nothing which affects stability is apparent. The article is broad in scope, surprisingly so for such an obscure game, neutral, the images have fair use rationales. It's almost good-to-go, please have a look at the following:
- The in-game movie and gameplay screenshots are both weighing in at 200kb a piece, could you reduce their sizes please?

- Lead section - it's just a weency bit short (even though it's a short article), it would be good to see a reference to it being called a cheap Elevator Action clone.
- The lead could of course be longer, but I haven't been able to figure what sort of information could still be added there. Thus far only one notable website has compared the game to Elevator Action. --Crockster (talk) 23:17, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
- Still the lead - "who must find Princess Peach (referred to as Princess Toadstool in the manual)" Is Peach referred to as Toadstool in the game, or just in the manual, or what? What I would suggest doing is just calling her Toadstool and linking to her character article, if that's how the game refers to her, and remove the bracket.
- In the game she's actually just called "the Princess" by other characters, so I decided to change the name to Toadstool on ground of the booklet. --Crockster (talk) 23:17, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
- The 'Story' subheading isn't necessary, the section is already referred to as plot and setting and there isn't enough text in the setting alone to necessitate it being kept separately.

- Why do you shut the doors? If this is never explained then it would be worth saying so and citing it within gameplay.
- Neither the game nor the manual give any reason for closing the doors. I'm not quite sure what could be used as a reference for this. --Crockster (talk) 23:17, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
- On the same tack, the Wii Fanboy piece contains criticism of this apparently unexplained activity, could you add some details in the second paragraph of reception on that angle?

- The door closing thing will be something which sticks in readers' heads - "what is the purpose of doing this?" If you can find no other mention of this than the Wii Fanboy article then please use that. The purpose or complete lack of purpose is a gap which needs filling one way or the other.

- For that last paragraph of reception, the Wii fanboy piece actually goes into more detail than the last, specifically youtube poops and live-action renditions - both of those could do with mentioning.
- I'm not very sure if more information should be included about the Internet videos, as anything related to Youtube poop is usually deleted from articles such as this and CD-i games from The Legend of Zelda series. The mention of live-action adaptations on the Wii Fanboy page pretty much refers to just one video. --Crockster (talk) 14:52, 18 September 2008 (UTC)
- In the lead, if you can add some additional info on the boss encounters to gameplay then it could likewise be mentioned in the lead. For the reception aspect of the lead, the fact that it involves closing doors is mentioned by both Game Daily and Wii Fanboy. Someoneanother 18:51, 17 September 2008 (UTC)
- I added one sentence about the Koopaling battles in the lead. I also replaced "simple style of gameplay" with the objective of closing doors as that describes better what is mentioned in the sources following the sentence. --Crockster (talk) 14:52, 18 September 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for your work, there is one final thing which I should have picked up before: the second Screw Attack cite (TremendousTom) is a personal blog post and can't be used as a reliable source, it needs replacing with alternative cites. The Zelda fansite is not something I was particularly comfortable with, but it was used in CD-i games from The Legend of Zelda series, a GA, so.. *shrugs*. The CDi fansites much better sources, one was apparently featured in Retro Gamer magazine and the other was given a nod in a gadget mag, although they're still not ideal they are a cut above Joe Bloggs' personal blog. That Screw Attack one does need replacing though, and ref #25 does not list the name of the website like the other cites. It should be ready to pass once those are sorted out. - The blog has now been replaced with links to the SNES-CD article, the Wired Magazine video, and this page from Interactive Dreams: [1].
