Hovercar
editDo the cars in Minority Report actually hover? As far as I know they only travel along the ground and the walls. IRbaboon 23:53, 25 July 2007 (UTC)
Hi, I know the above question was asked several years ago but I just never checked it out. I don't think there are any actual hovercars in Minority Report, although there was a hovercycle used in an episode of the TV series, which is set in the same universe. It wasn't street legal though, and it was a motorcycle, not a car. So no, I don't know for sure if that counts. Noah Tall (talk) 18:37, 5 November 2015 (UTC)
Eliminated the sentence about rocks flipping normal cars over. WTF? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.75.1.255 (talk) 19:41, August 26, 2007 (UTC)

Incorrect
editThere are no hovercars in I, Robot and Total Recall. At least of the cars I saw in those movies, none of them were.--190.139.34.36 (talk) 03:01, 18 April 2018 (UTC)
"Maglev hover car"
editWhat is that "maglev hover car" in the top image? It's obviously not real (just a rendered image), but where has it come from and what is it supposed to represent? Is it a screen-grab from a game? An illustration from a "future transport ideas" article? Stock footage? Something created for this article? Without more information, it isn't really a useful image, as it doesn't actually tell us anything about hovercars. Iapetus (talk) 13:54, 13 December 2021 (UTC)
- I think it's a 3d model, because it does not have any rendering. Winter085 (talk) 01:47, 25 April 2023 (UTC)
