- No, because it constantly changes. 68.54.163.153 (talk) 15:05, 30 December 2007 (UTC)

Damage to his car
editBack in the 80's, during an interview with Shawn Michaels, Mr. Perfect blindsided Shawn and threw him into Finkel's car which was parked outside. Shawn's head hit the passenger side door and after an irish whip, Shawn's boot broke the windshield. The damage to Finkel's car totalled $3300 67.68.36.96 (talk) 14:03, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
- That was on Monday Night Raw in 1993. It's also not notable. InedibleHulk (talk) 11:35, 27 June 2012 (UTC)
Announcer at Wrestlemania for Hall of Fame inductees
editThe page currently mentions that he appears only at PPVs and has been preesnt at every Wrestlemania. I guess it should also be mentioned that at each Wrestlemania, he is the one who announces the WWE Hall of Fame inductees for the year. Mayankeagle (talk) 18:41, 16 July 2008 (UTC)

Not a professional wrestler
editThere's a bit of a back-and-forth about whether Finkel should be categorized as a Jewish professional wrestler, and further discussion may be needed to reach consensus. I say he's clearly not, despite flailing about awkwardly in nine comedic tuxedo matches (four televised). Two of his "opponents" were Lilian Garcia and Tony Chimel, who are not categorized as wrestlers here, despite them "outwrestling" him and going over. Downtown Bruno is a relative mat veteran, tagging in almost a hundred matches with "real" wrestlers, but as Harvey Wippleman, he was never "legit" enough to give anyone credibility between the ropes, even if they used a wrestling move instead of just taking his clothes off.
Don't get me wrong, I like The Fink. I just appreciate him for what he is. And until I see a reliable source calling him a professional wrestler, I can't buy him as one here. Can you? InedibleHulk (talk) 03:10, 17 May 2018 (UTC)
Protect needed. Death mentions in media
editThis edit request has been answered. Set the |answered= or |ans= parameter to no to reactivate your request. |
I do not know how to do this, but this page should be protected because there are many mentions of Finkel's death in the medias today. It has been officialized by the WWE. 67.223.153.181 (talk) 17:21, 16 April 2020 (UTC)
- WWE only announced his death. The cause of death has not been revealed. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 05:24, 19 April 2020 (UTC)
Is it now fully protected because someone wants a stroke (or Wyoming shark attack) to have killed Finkel without a source? Seems a bit drastic. Just verify it if it's verifiable or leave it out. InedibleHulk (talk) 04:38, 18 April 2020 (UTC)
- @InedibleHulk: I removed stroke from the infobox as it has not been confirmed. Someone put it back because they are assuming that just because he had a stroke last year, that is the reason for his death. You can't source it because no cause of death has not been revealed. Ugh. 05:24, 19 April 2020 (UTC)
- I ran into that same someone, I feel your ugh! InedibleHulk (talk) 07:18, 19 April 2020 (UTC)
Can a poweruser add a CN tag to the cause in the infobox, at least? InedibleHulk (talk) 05:56, 18 April 2020 (UTC)
- @InedibleHulk: Get an admin. That's what you are supposed to do. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 05:24, 19 April 2020 (UTC)
- Note: I added {{edit fully-protected}} to this section to get the cause of death removed. JTP (talk • contribs) 05:54, 19 April 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks, naive of me to think any would already be watching. InedibleHulk (talk) 07:12, 19 April 2020 (UTC)

- Not done: The page's protection level has changed since this request was placed. You should now be able to edit the page yourself. If you still seem to be unable to, please reopen the request with further details. — JJMC89 (T·C) 05:01, 21 April 2020 (UTC)
- Connormah already did it during the lockdown, too, just didn't announce it. InedibleHulk (talk) 05:12, 21 April 2020 (UTC)
Other media section
editWhy is his involvement with the JBL and Cole show tacked on here at the end when his apperances on the WWE Network shows Legends' House and the Edge and Christian Show are covered in the main career section? One or the other, please. And, in any case, it should not come after the section on his death. --Khajidha (talk) 15:01, 18 April 2020 (UTC)
- Agreed. InedibleHulk (talk) 23:29, 18 April 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks for moving it, I couldn't paste, didn't want to retype it. InedibleHulk (talk) 09:14, 22 April 2020 (UTC)
First WWE employee?
editThis is a rather confusing statement. The WWWF formed in 1963. Finkel did not become an employee until 1975. How was he the first employee? Was just everyone working for the WWWF from 63–75 just contracted workers and not actually employees? --JDC808 ♫ 04:20, 20 April 2020 (UTC)
- First Titan Sports employee in 1980. That was Vince and Linda's company, acquired WWF from Old Vince in 1982, renamed the company and promotion to WWE later, confusing many. I think he worked for Madison Square Garden beforehand, which just happened to be where the McMahon wrestlers often worked, but not sure. InedibleHulk (talk) 06:57, 20 April 2020 (UTC)
- Bit clearer now, thanks for wondering. InedibleHulk (talk) 05:43, 21 April 2020 (UTC)
