- HMAS? AFAIK, the prefix was HMS, for His Majesty's Submarine.

- Pretty sure that the range figure is in nautical miles not statute miles.

- What kind of ship was Hrvar?
- Hvar, submarine tender. Added.
- Did the ships make any foreign port visits or anything before 1941? Career summaries are pretty scanty.
- Have added two cruises they did, and an accident Nebosja had.
- Need to flesh out the summary of Nebosja's career a bit more. Did she sink any ships, etc.?
- Was used in a training role after her escape, added a bit. I'm trying to find a reliable source for the report that she tended to dive too sharply...
- Any pictures available?

- Do you have any info on diving depth? Probably the same as the L class that she was based on, but maybe not.
- Not at all sure that the Jane's photo is actually PD. It depends on how the photo is credited in Jane's. If to Beatty, then it's still in copyright as he sold or licensed it to Jane's. - It all depends on if he assigned as a photographer or not. Photos made in a private capacity are copyrighted by that person if he was not tasked to take photos. Forex, I retain copyright of all the photos that I took when I was on active duty because I was not a photographer, even though many were during duty hours and of soldiers and their equipment. Given that Beatty was an officer of middling rank, I think it unlikely that he was an official photographer, especially since the photo ended up in Jane's. But you can make a query to clarify the matter over at the village pump on Commons, if you like. You should also check to see if there are any photos of the ships in the IWM collection that you can use without reservation.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 03:19, 8 April 2015 (UTC)
