I've removed the word "Soviet" from the description in the lede where Vasiura is termed a "Soviet war criminal". On a superficial reading this is correct, he was a Soviet citizen and a war criminal, but on a different reading this description could mistakenly imply he was a war criminal whose actions were part of the Soviet side of the war. I've changed the description to match language used in the Russian and Polish articles - a senior lieutenant in the Red Army who was captured and volunteered for service with the Nazis. --Goldsztajn (talk) 10:59, 9 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
