Merger of Hudson River Valley Review to new section here
editText and/or other creative content from this version of Hudson River Valley Review was copied or moved into Hudson River Valley Institute with this edit on 21:53, 29 October 2011. The former page's history now serves to provide attribution for that content in the latter page, and it must not be deleted as long as the latter page exists. |
This merger was done in light of:
- Source article was subject of an expired, unchallenged WP:PROD, meaning it was liable for deletion at any time.
- Source article was a short, unreferenced stub that had a natural home here.
- Web searches indicate that sourcing on the Institute is much easier than directly for the Review.
- This article itself is still rather small and stubby, and can easily accommodate the small new section.
- My notice earlier in the week on the source article's Talk page suggesting this merger provoked no negative response. No response at all, actually. :)
Simultaneously with this edit, section was edited to remove explanatory info about the Institute (made redundant by its move here), to wikify link to Bard College, and minor copy cleanup.
Note: I am new at this article merger business, so if I have messed anything up, I would appreciate a heads-up. Thanks.
