Print sources
editFloridaArmy I've just looked at Wikipedia:Notability (people)#Entertainers mentioned by one of the commenters of this draft. It states:
- Actors, voice actors, comedians, opinion makers, models, and celebrities:
- Has had significant roles in multiple notable films, television shows, stage performances, or other productions.
- Has a large fan base or a significant "cult" following.
- Has made unique, prolific or innovative contributions to a field of entertainment.
Print sources will need to be consulted to satisfy at least one of the above criteria. Too few online sources provide an in depth survey of his life.
I don't know where you're located, but I would contact your local library to see if they can find his name in specialized encyclopedias or specialized dictionaries. Specifically, in works about theater, television, film, actors, paintings, or African American actors. Next, look for monographs about Nagisa Oshima, John Cassavetes, Alice Neel, Godfrey Cambridge, Maya Angelou, or Michelle Hurd. Perhaps Hurd received some detail coverage within those works.
If no print sources can be found to substantiate his notability, then Hurd's biographical details can be placed into articles like films he's appeared in such as Shadows or The Catch. Mitchumch (talk) 03:18, 6 March 2019 (UTC)
