The contents of this page are inaccurate and do not correctly document the history of the origins and ongoings of McDonalds in New Zealand and the contributions of the people involved, in particular Hugh's brother, Wally, who was the visionary behind the dream. For a more accurate account, please refer to: 'Golden Arches Under Southern Skies' by Rosemary Hepozden, Renaissance Publishing, Auckland 2011.
