Untrustworthy colonial account used for reference? - Hunter over lions' tale?
editI do not trust the source used for this article (Geary). The book notes that many people were eaten in Nigeria, fair enough, but the same book uses the words 'Pagan', 'negro' and several other 'out dated' words. The book was written in 1927 probably by a British man that was supporting the colonial efforts at the time in Nigeria. In one word: Propaganda. I don't think such claims should be taken as fact, especially from a colonial age Westerner, we all know the demonisation of Africa from literature of that age and geography.......
