To merge given heavy overlap. Klbrain (talk) 08:19, 2 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

This article doesn’t say a whole lot that is specific to Homo sapiens, and the little that is specific isn’t particularly highlighted as such. Heck, even the lead would be completely applicable to epigenomes in general… other than the obligatory occurrence of the word human at the start of its first sentence. If this ends up not being merged (I don't feel qualified to make a recommendation) then the lead section needs to be cleaned up. The grammar is atrocious. Phil Bridger (talk) 21:44, 15 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
Support There is significant overlap in the two articles. CursedWithTheAbilityToDoTheMath (talk) 22:01, 21 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
Support significant overlap. Draken Bowser (talk) 15:49, 24 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
Support There is little in this article that is human-specific. Most of this also applies to other mammals. Boghog (talk) 08:47, 28 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
Comment There is also a lot of overlap between epigenome and epigenomics. IMHO, the former should focus on the complete set of epigenetic information in an organism, while the later should focus on methods of study of the epigenome. Boghog (talk) 11:48, 28 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
