Holy Grail

edit

The article says the song "Holy Grail" is "ostensibly" about Napoleon's March on Moscow. Though Mark Seymour has said he was inspired by this, there's nothing "ostensible" about it - apart from a reference to snow. The song "ostensibly" mentions the quest for the Holy Grail (obviously) and the Crusades, and it is clear from the first and last verses that it refers to a personal/spiritual journey. Certainly it doesn't appear to be the account of a Napoleonic soldier!!!--Jack Upland 00:36, 19 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Mark Seymour

edit

I've noticed that Mark Seymour redirects here. However, he went on after Hunters disbanded and forged a solo career with a few hits. Don't they belong on a page about the guy. People often say Hunters & Collectors = Mark Seymour, but does it also follow the other way around ? And surely if his brother Nick Seymour gets a full article for being little more than a bass player in a band then Mark who wrote and played all of the songs should get a separate mention, especially given that he has been in the news a lot lately due to his public court dealings with his former wife - all completely unrelated to the band which he was once a frontman for --Biatch 08:55, 18 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Proposed major editing

edit

As 2005 ARIA Hall of Fame winners, the 'Hunnas' deserve a B-class article (at least). In collaboration, with Dan arndt (talk), I will be undertaking some major editing of this article. Interim edits may look disorganised or unfinished, the process is expected to take about a week. First up will be some reorganising of the article structure, some beefing up of sections and supplying reliable refs throughout.Shaidar cuebiyar (talk) 05:04, 25 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

I have finished my major editing and believe the article is now at B-class. I also believe that as, ARIA Hall of Fame inductees, for WP:AUSMUS they are of High importance. I will be changing the assessments in line with this.Shaidar cuebiyar (talk) 02:42, 30 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Are they or were they?

edit

On 12 April 2014 they performed their last concert for the reunion series. And that in a section called "Post-Breakup". So, why does the article begin with "Hunters & Collectors are"? --jae (talk) 23:53, 21 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
