Question
editWhy is a separate article created for Beatriz? Why didn't Adrian get one then? 89119 (talk) 02:47, 20 June 2011 (UTC)
- Adrian had little/no impact on land while Beatriz has prompted hurricane warnings. Cyclonebiskit (talk) 02:50, 20 June 2011 (UTC)
- Beatriz got an article because it is threatening land as we speak. Adrian should i have gotten one, and I myself /might write Adrian in a day or two. YE Tropical Cyclone
- Adrian can still get one, based on its high intensity. Titoxd(?!? - cool stuff) 02:56, 20 June 2011 (UTC)
- Not to mention Adrian did prompt tropical storm watches. --♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 05:03, 20 June 2011 (UTC)
- Adrian doesn't need an article. As per Cyclonebiskit, "Adrian had little/no impact on land". Adrian only prompted a tropical storm watch for western Mexico. --Anirudh Emani (talk) 09:12, 22 June 2011 (UTC)
- Assuming non-NHC sources can be found, it should get one to due its high intensity. YE Tropical Cyclone 13:22, 22 June 2011 (UTC)
- Not to mention Adrian did prompt tropical storm watches. --♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 05:03, 20 June 2011 (UTC)

Here are my comments
- "Originating from an area of disturbed weather on June 19, 2011, several hundred miles south-southeast of Mexico, Beatriz gradually intensified." no need for 2011 IMO.
- Wikilink Mexico in lead.
- Lead should be one paragraph due to lack of impact.
- "However, the overall effects of Beatriz were limited and the rains were largely beneficial in mitigating a severe drought." I'd changed that to "Overall, effects of Beatriz were minor and the rains were largely beneficial in mitigating a severe drought."
- "Three hours after classification, the depression strengthened Tropical Storm Beatriz, the named storm of the 2011 Pacific hurricane season." Is it more or is a word missing?
- Why isn't the recon flight mention in the MH?
- Wikilink Mexico in MH if you wikilink Guatemala/
- Any damage totals?
- Why ins't the SNM report used in the article?
- I think you got the ref and work fields mixed up. Isn't NHC the publisher and NOAA the work?
Otherwise, it's good. I am leaving this nomination on hold. YE Pacific Hurricane 15:11, 16 October 2011 (UTC)
- Passing. YE Pacific Hurricane 15:53, 16 October 2011 (UTC)
