USMC stub
editIs this really necessary for this article? The fact that he was a Marine, while part of his biography, doesn't IMO qualify this article as a USMC-bio. It's not like he was a senior Marine or one of distinction. Served a few years and that was it. I propose {{USMC-bio-stub}} be removed. Alcarillo 18:40, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
Resigned his position in Egypt?

Aidid
editThe title should be Hussein Mohamed Farrah Aidid. I propose move the article to that name. "Aidid" is always included in articles about this man.S710 12:43, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
President of Somalia
editFor consistency with List of Presidents of Somalia, I suggest that he should not be shown as President, and that the article should state 'In the second half of the 1990s, different faction leaders vied for the Presidency, with none receiving international recognition. General Mohamed Farrah Aidid claimed to be President from 15 June 1995 to his death on 1 August 1996, followed by his son Hussein Farrah Aidid from 2 August 1996 to 20 March 1998'.
