Flexible systems
editDoes anyone have sources for flexible systems such as used by Harry Ricardo for riveting on Indian railway bridges? The London Science Museum had little available when I last asked several years ago. SovalValtos (talk) 01:49, 3 January 2016 (UTC)
- See hydraulic intensifier for a little on his work with those. It's mentioned in his autobiog. Andy Dingley (talk) 03:08, 3 January 2016 (UTC)
- The Ricardo book was as far as I had got. What I was hoping for was some images of equipment, hoses, tools etc plus more drawings than are on commons. There is not much in Lane, 'The Rendell Connection' SovalValtos (talk) 07:12, 3 January 2016 (UTC)

Also Chicago
editI don't see any mention of Hydraulic power systems in the USA. I'm told that Chicago had one, last pressurized I think sometime just after WWII. I haven't added it because I don't have an reference. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.206.162.148 (talk) 22:35, 24 September 2018 (UTC)
More about Limehouse?
editThe Limehouse Accumulator Tower was built ca 1869 so it apparently predates the general London hydraulic power network. Does anyone know enough specifics to write about this?
