editThis article seems kind of sketchy. Too many sections, with not enough content in each. More like an outline than a real article. I'll try to do some cleanup and see if I can improve it, but I have no content to add. Good topic for an article, though. Props to Mion for his work on it.--Srleffler 00:12, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
Mion, is your intent to say more about each of the types of sensor (like giving a slightly more detailed description of how each works)? If so, the section structure may be appropriate. If you've only got a line of material or so for each, a bulleted list might be more appropriate, like this:
- Optical fibre hydrogen sensors—These consist of an optical fibre in which surface plasmon resonance is used for the point-contact detection of hydrogen.
- Fiber Bragg grating coated with a palladium layer—detecting the hydrogen by metal hindrance.
...
I'll leave it as sections for now, assuming you have more to say. If not, we should change the format. The descriptions of the various types need some work anyway. Many of them are not clear enough for me (an optical physicist) to understand how the devices described work. Clearly, there isn't much point mentioning types of devices without at least giving a reasonably clear explanation of the mechanism each uses. Please try to use full sentences as well. Sentence fragments are very hard to read. --Srleffler 00:25, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
Hi Srleffler, there was totally nothing about this hydrogen sensors, and yes each of the sensors deserve there own article, but then i would end up with 5 red lines in the article, about articles not written, the article is not complete, it has to be completed with the DOE achievement lines, to bring the costs down to 1-2 us dollar pro sensor for automotive and other use, there is still a lot of work to do. it was just a start, next add is market status for each type. reg.
