The result of the move request was move to Hygrophila (Gastropoda). Arbitrarily0 (talk) 21:06, 23 November 2009 (UTC)
Hygrophila (clade) → Hygrophila (gastropod) — To be compatible with other gastropod articles. Homonyms are with suffix (gastropod) and other articles are also beeing renamed to suffix (gastropod). Wikipedia:WikiProject Gastropods#Names and titles. --Snek01 (talk) 15:34, 5 November 2009 (UTC)
- The other cases are cited are distinct in that they refer to genus names, not suprageneric clades like this one. I would prefer moving to "Hygrophila (gastropods)" or "Hygrophila (Gastropoda)"; the former is also given at the cited WikiProject page. Ucucha 04:09, 7 November 2009 (UTC)
- The examples on the cited page is written by me [1] and it can be changed. The only similar and really complicated and very exceptional example is Trochoidea. If there would be any reason to not have Hygrophila (gastropod), then Hygrophila (clade) is also OK for me then. --Snek01 (talk) 10:43, 7 November 2009 (UTC)
- (Returning after a long time.) "Clade" is also dubious, because the plant genus is presumably also a clade (it's monophyletic, or so I hope). "Gastropod" I don't like because it doesn't make sense for a suprageneric group (see also WP:NCDAB): you don't say that "Hygrophila is a gastropod". My first preference would be "Hygrophila (Gastropoda)", but I'm quite willing to yield to your preference, as you're obviously more knowledgeable about gastropods than I am. - OK. "Hygrophila (Gastropoda)" will be fine. --Snek01 (talk) 18:28, 20 November 2009 (UTC)
