CERN, plastic, and explanation of the picture

Is the CERN reference really correct? It looks like it might be a joke, referring to the previous LHC abbreviation. The link to CERN seems incorrect, since that page is specifically about the nuclear research thing.

Also, after reading the article I'm not entirely sure about a few points; what does "plastic" mean? I think an explanation of the image would elucidate the topic. Is it an example of hypergraphy? What is it trying to accomplish? When and why was it created? Other examples would be useful to get a feel for what hypergraphy really is as well. Le kasydzu (talk) 05:39, 22 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
