The second paragraph says this is Hyundai's first hybrid, however there is another Wikipedia page for the Hyundai Sonata [[1]] that says the Sonata's sales started in 2011, some 6 years before the Ioniq went on sale in the USA. I'm not an expert on US cars, but I've had a Sonata Hybrid as a hire car for the last 6 weeks, and the Ioniq has only just gone on sale! Is there a different definition of hybrid that excludes the Sonata, or is this just an over zealous post on a new car? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.225.122.50 (talk) 02:20, 25 April 2017 (UTC)
"only sold in California"
editClearly wrong (it's a quite big seller in Europe and Korea). But I'm not sure what the correct sentence would be, can someone fix it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 37.247.12.28 (talk) 21:10, 17 June 2018 (UTC)
- I've made an edit to the article that addresses your concern. I changed the claim to say that Hyundai USA sells the electric vehicle only in California, updated the claim with a more recent source, and moved this US-specific bit of information from the top of the article to the section on the Ioniq Electric. -- Heath 184.170.76.239 (talk) 17:30, 19 June 2018 (UTC)
"Like the Toyota Prius, the Ioniq does not have a lead acid auxiliary 12 V battery"
editAlso wrong, I think the PEV does not have a 12 V battery, but other variants do, e.g. the 2018 EV. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 37.247.12.28 (talk) 21:12, 17 June 2018 (UTC)

"driver's left side" makes no sense when the car comes in a right-drive version
editOne image caption reads "The Ioniq plug-in charging port is located in the driver's left side." The next image shows a right-driving Ioniq. Why is the word "driver's" in the image caption?
- I assume it means that it is on the left side of the vehicle. "Driver's" left side is redundant except in the very few vehicles which have some passengers facing the rear. I'll change it. -- Q Chris (talk) 08:54, 6 September 2021 (UTC)
- @Q Chris this car is sold in America as a left hand drive 206.45.62.210 (talk) 05:17, 4 February 2024 (UTC)
Power output for Electric version in the table is likely wrong
editPower output for Electric version in the table is likely wrong Linzya (talk) 19:54, 3 January 2023 (UTC)
I doubt it is 310 kW. I suspect it has been confused with the range. Linzya (talk) 19:55, 3 January 2023 (UTC)
