Question: Is this perticular song more rock/alt rock or more post-grunge? My problem is that this song is nothng like Nickelbacks "post-grunge" singles or songs in general. That sound can range from Leader of Men to How You Remind Me, to Hero, to even If Everyone Cared. But not this. The basic definition of post-grunge is that its a sub-genre of alt rock and that it has the feel of grunge music (ex. Nirvana, Alice in Chains, early 90s Nickealback and Foo Fighters, ect.) but with a more commercial tone (like Savin' Me; its thick and distorted but mainstream radio-friendly. Where as I'd Come For You is more like a comercial "rock" song. And is nothing of the post-grunge genre according to it's characteristics. I am a long time Nickelback fan and I am just saying that this song is no way have the "feel" of grunge. So I would like either a genre of just "Rock" or "Alternative rock" because that is what it really is. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.54.248.168 (talk) 00:47, 17 November 2011 (UTC)
