Talk:I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight

YouTube used as source

edit

I recognize that YouTube is not normally used as a reliable source, but as this is the band's official YouTube channel and is therefore akin to a statement on U2.com, it's usage in this instance should be acceptable. If anyone disagrees with my using it, lets have a proper discussion here. MelicansMatkin (talk) 19:04, 21 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Release Date

edit

According to Amazon.co.uk, I'll Go Crazy won't be released until September 7th. Check it out. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ill-Go-Crazy-Dont-Tonight/dp/B002J8LVOU/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1250704022&sr=8-2 (Also has a pretty cool alternative cover for the second version of the single) --CrazyTonight (talk) 19:51, 19 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Verifiability, not truth, unfortunately. It was "kinda" released on the original date though; the live version from Sommerville became available for purchase from Amazon.com on August 17th. Not exactly what we were expecting, but... MelicansMatkin (talk, contributions) 18:58, 19 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Blackberry

edit

No Blackberry commercial reference yet? The song probably owes most of its popularity to the heavy airplay, although that's just my opinion. Ericleb01 (talk) 02:35, 9 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

The blackberry bit is listed in the "development" section. As for the song's popularity because of the ad's airplay, we would need a reference for that. We cant speculate and add stuff we think must be happening. If you have a reliable source to confirm it, add it! Suede67 (talk) 15:23, 9 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
